Finding a great pair of sweat pants for tall men
You think it would be easy to find sweat pants for big and tall men since basketball is a tall guys sport, but that's not the case. I've tried adidas and nike sweat pants, and the XXL sweats are designed more for large waists than long legs.
If I had my choice, I'd wear sweats every day, but I'm usually limited by my personal stock of sweat pants and the occasional business meeting where sweats are too casual, so I mostly wear jeans on those days. I have a 36 inch waist and a 36 inch inseam. I like my sweat pants to touch the ground and have a break in the pant leg if I'm wearing running or basketball shoes. The problem is it's hard to reliably find a store that carries sweats large sweats in big & tall sizes. Not any more.
The best place to buy sweats for tall people is at a store called Lululemon. They are known for their yoga athletic wear, but they have a couple cuts of men's sweat pants that are over 36 inches long and are amazingly comfortable. The fabric is stretch and breathes well, super soft, have an elastic waistband with a drawstring to tighten them up if you need to, but will easily expand for a large waist and be comfortable.
I guess I should know this well by now. Big and tall clothes are really hard to find. When you find them, you have to be less price sensitive since there are so few options. Lululemon men's sweat pants are no exception. They're very expensive at around $100 a pair for sweat pants. But, at least you know where to go if you need a really great pair of sweat pants.

Sorry this was a bogus information. Im looking for sweatpants 36" - 38" waist with 34" or 36" inseam
seams all sweatpants with a Large waist 36 - 38 only come with a 32: inseam
Makes me wish that there was one of those stores out here in Ohio, Im six foot seven and have only found one pair of sweats that fit me.....Im actually wearing them now lol I agree sweats are the perferred apparel of the day.
who knew? I would have never guessed that lululemon would be selling mens tall pants. I am a woman with long legs and is a great find. it is not easy getting the length in pants. wish I had known this summer time. they have a crazy sale...

but I don't recommend ordering the pants online. Go into the store and try them on. Some cuts are longer than others.

I love the Lululemon clothes for women as well. It's expensive, but the quality is the best!

Thank you for this hub. My husband is tall and I can't hardly find him the right length pants to wear at a reasonable price. Most time you have to get the length with a wide waist and he doesn't have a wide waist either. Could you possibly put the link for the store you mentioned in your article...please?
I would sew him some, but I don't have the room or the time now. Sewing used to save some money but with the price of material now it is not as thrifty as it used to be. I voted this up and useful.

Just found out that Reebok makes a pretty decent pair at a good price of tall sized sweats.
