How To Make a Photo Collage from Pictures
I've recently been getting into amature photography and have been playing with making a few photo collages. I have a friend that does this professionally and I thought it would be fun to give it a go.
1. You need a digital camera
2. You need a computer and photoshop elements
Take lots of pictures of something. My goal is to make a collage that is one view. But each picture has a different exposure to give it a different look and feel. Then I put the photos together like a puzzle.
When I take the photos, I stand in one place and just move slightly. With each photo I try and capture one unique element.

A collage can take me up to about 24 hours to put together and usually involves several hundred photos. The ultimate dimensions of the collage is determined by how many photos, but most are about 36 to 48 inches wide and can be as tall as 60 inches.
Once I have the collage together, I save off the picture. My hope is to find someone to print it on canvas to hang in our office.
