    Roasted Pork Tenderloin Ingredients

    • 1 teaspoon pepper, use pepper to taste
    • 1 tablespoon coarse salt, use salt to taste
    • 1/4 cup olive oil, lightly cover the pork with oil
    • 1 pork tenderloin

      Pork Tenderloin tips

If you use a meat thermometer with an alarm you don't even have to check anything. All you do is roast the pork until the alarm goes off. It doesn't get much easier than this.

If you would like a juicy pork tenderloin, I suggest brining the meat before you roast it in a brining bag.

      • If you do brine your pork, and plan on making gravy with the meat drippings, the brine has a lot of salt and that your gravy won't need as much - Taste the gravy before adding salt.

Another idea for preparing a pork tenderloin is to grill it!

      Pork Tenderloin baking instructions

      1. Pre-heat the oven to 350 degrees.
      2. It's recommended to brine the pork before roasting (see pork brine recipe)
      3. Cover the meat with a light coating of olive oil
      4. Salt and pepper the pork tenderloin to taste
      5. Insert a cooking thermometer in the center of the tenderloin
      6. Place the pork tenderloin in an oven safe baking dish
      7. On the bake setting of the oven, roast the pork tenderloin until the center reads 145 degrees for slightly pink tenderloin. For more well done bake to 155 degrees
      8. Let the pork tenderloin rest for ten minutes before serving

Nice and easy-- pork is always flavorful even with simple seasonings. Good for leftover dishes too.

(Please don't give any pork recipes to legislators.)
