Seashell, Flower, and Starfish Bathroom Urinals

Exploring a pottery studio in the Castro, I stumbled upon an artist setting up a small display of artistic urinals.  While I often think of urinals as toilets in commercial establishments, these artistic urinals are usually sold to be used in residences.  I can't remember the exact price, but I believe they were  over two thousand dollars each. 

I really liked the design, but I have to wonder about the functionality.  I sure hope they don't splash.  Yuk.
